The QS3-QSR is the top of the line Shock from Fox Factory. With remote reservoirs, IFP technology and two hydraulic adjustments, these shocks are ready for anything you can throw at them!

Remote reservoir shocks have become the go-to upgrade for Harley riders, and Fox makes one of the best in the business! The external reservoirs increase fluid capacity and improve cooling, reducing the risk of cavitation or bubble in your fluid. Just like brakes, heat is the enemy of shock absorbers, if you keep them cool, they will provide more consistent performance, especially important for heavy bikes loaded with passengers and travel gear.

Fox packs these shocks with two incredibly useful hydraulic adjustments QS3, which is a 3 position compression damping lever and QSR which offers 3 rebound settings.

The QS3 (Quick Switch Compression) damping lever is mounted right on the reservoir making for effortless adjustments between three specific settings: maximum comfort, extra support for hard acceleration, or most responsive for precise handling. These adjustments also come in handy when you pick up or drop off a passenger.
QSR or Quick Switch Rebound settings make it easy to dial in the correct rebound rate for different riding situations: comfort for bumpy backroads, any road balance of control and comfort, and a glued to the asphalt setting for smooth twisty roads.
In addition, the remote reservoirs house internal floating pistons to separate the nitrogen gas from the shock oil, meaning the QS3-QSR remote reservoir shocks will maintain damping control no matter how long you ride!

Note: Heavy duty springs for riders and loads over 240 lbs. Included reservoir bracket is for 2014 and newer models only. 2013 and older bikes will need a custom mounting solution. 14″ shocks require a shorty style exhaust for clearance.

Fitment Notes & Exceptions
  • Depending on model, your stock shock length is 12″ to 13″
  • Shock lengths are measured fully extended, eyelet to eyelet on centers
  • A change in height at one end of the bike may require a change at the other
  • 14″ shocks require a shorty exhaust that ends before the lower shock mounting bolt
  • Changing ride height can potentially change the trail and mechanical trail
  • Prior to purchasing shocks that are different than your OEM length, please verify that wheel and suspension travel can be altered without causing clearance issues to the swingarm, axle, frame, tire, fender, chain/belt and guard, and exhaust
  • Heavy duty springs for riders and loads over 240 lbs.
